Cheongdam-dong lies east of Apgujeong along the Han River. Its western part, on Apgujeong-ro beyond Galleria, is lined with luxury brand flagship buildings, wedding studios and hair salons used by celebrities. The eastern part around Cheongdam Station is quieter, with apartments, schools and office buildings.

Clinics are spread between the two. Private dermatology, plastic surgery and anti-aging clinics are found near the luxury strip on Apgujeong-ro and Dosan-daero, while spine hospitals and general clinics cluster nearer Cheongdam Station on Hakdong-ro. Many Cheongdam clinics are in smaller buildings and see fewer patients per day.

Note that Cheongdam Station is far from the luxury strip. For clinics near Galleria and Apgujeong-ro, Apgujeongrodeo Station is often closer.

  • Cheongdam (Line 7, 729): The station sits at the east end of Cheongdam on Hakdong-ro, with 14 exits. Exit 2 is the side for Bongeunsa and Kyunggi High School.
  • Apgujeongrodeo (Suin-Bundang Line, K212): Usually closer for clinics on the Apgujeong-ro luxury strip at Cheongdam's west end.
  • Gangnam-gu Office (Line 7, 730): Line 7 and Suin-Bundang transfer station one stop west of Cheongdam on Line 7.

  • From Myeongdong: Line 2 from Euljiro 1-ga to Konkuk University, then Line 7 two stops to Cheongdam. About 35 to 40 minutes.
  • From Incheon Airport by limousine bus: route 6006 to Apgujeong Station, then a 10 minute taxi. About 80 to 100 minutes in total.
  • From Incheon Airport by AREX: AREX to Seoul Station, then subway with two transfers to Cheongdam or Apgujeongrodeo. About 100 to 110 minutes.
  • From Hongdae: Line 2 to Konkuk University, then Line 7 to Cheongdam. About 50 to 55 minutes.

  • To Gangnam-gu Office Station: about 12 to 15 minutes from Cheongdam Station.

Which station is closest to Cheongdam clinics?

It depends on the address. For clinics on Apgujeong-ro and near Galleria, use Apgujeongrodeo. For clinics on Hakdong-ro near the Cheongdam intersection, use Cheongdam Station on Line 7.

Are taxis easy to find in Cheongdam?

Yes on Apgujeong-ro, Dosan-daero and Hakdong-ro. On small lanes, booking through Kakao T is quicker.

Is Cheongdam quieter than Sinsa for a recovery stay?

Generally yes. Streets are less crowded and there are fewer large clinic buildings, though weekends bring shoppers to the luxury strip.

Can I walk from Cheongdam to COEX?

It takes about 25 to 30 minutes from Cheongdam Station. A taxi takes about 10 minutes.
