Clinics on the Sinsa Station Clinic Street

The cluster of plastic surgery and skin clinics packed around Sinsa Station's exits, between Gangnam-daero, Dosan-daero and Apgujeong-ro.

Getting here
  • Korean: 신사역 병원거리
  • Stations: Sinsa (Line 3), Sinsa (Shinbundang Line), Nonhyeon (Shinbundang Line)
  • Clinics in this part of Gangnam: 141 registered with HIRA

Koreans call the blocks around Sinsa Station 신사역 병원거리, the Sinsa Station hospital street. It is less a single street than a cluster: clinic buildings line Gangnam-daero south toward Nonhyeon, Dosan-daero east toward Dosan Park, and Apgujeong-ro north toward Apgujeong Station. Some buildings hold four or five clinics on different floors.

Plastic surgery is the core of the cluster, with eyelid, nose, facial contouring and body surgery, and many clinics have recovery rooms and in-house anesthesia. Dermatology and aesthetic skin clinics fill the gaps, along with hair transplant clinics, dental clinics and pharmacies that stock aftercare products.

The density makes it easy to do several consultations in one day on foot. It also means signage is crowded, so save the exact building name and floor before you go.

Stations

  • Sinsa (Line 3, 337): Exits open directly onto Gangnam-daero and Dosan-daero. Exit 8 faces Garosu-gil. Check the exit your clinic names, since the intersection is wide.
  • Sinsa (Shinbundang Line, D04): Use the transfer passage to Line 3 exits. The Shinbundang Line connects to Gangnam Station in about 5 minutes.
  • Nonhyeon (Shinbundang Line, D05): One stop south. Clinics on the southern part of Gangnam-daero can be closer to Nonhyeon.
