Who qualifies for the 43,850 KRW fee?

NHIS enrollees who have had at least 2 weeks and 4 sessions of physical therapy first. Sessions are capped at 2 a week and 15 a year, or 24 with a doctor's opinion.

What did a session cost before the change?

Why do university hospitals charge so much more?

Non-covered sessions at general and university hospitals run 100,000 to 300,000 KRW or more because of higher overheads and longer sessions.

You pay the clinic's non-covered price. Ask for it at reception before the session.
