What is Density Lifting?

Density is a radiofrequency lifting device made by Jeisys Medical, a Korean manufacturer. It runs at 6.78 MHz and can deliver energy in monopolar mode for deeper heating or bipolar mode for more superficial tightening, with contact cooling and skin temperature monitoring.

Apgujeong clinics offer it as a Korean alternative to Thermage for crepey skin, fine lines and mild jaw laxity.

How it works

The device checks skin impedance, then delivers RF pulses while the tip cools the surface. Heat in the dermis contracts collagen and starts new collagen formation. The doctor can switch modes between thicker cheek skin and thinner areas near the eyes.

Who it suits

  • Crepey cheeks and fine lines
  • Mild jawline laxity
  • Thin faces
  • Annual tightening on a moderate budget

Who should skip it or wait

  • Pacemakers or implanted electronics
  • Pregnancy
  • Significant sagging
  • Metal implants in the area

Side effects and risks

  • Redness and warmth
  • Mild swelling
  • Rare burns
  • Temporary tenderness

Aftercare

  • Moisturize and avoid scrubs for 2-3 days
  • Skip saunas for 48 hours
  • Use sunscreen

Planning around your trip

Density can be done the day before flying, and moisturizer on the plane helps with the slight dryness some people notice.

Density Lifting questions

What makes Density different from Thermage?

Density offers both monopolar and bipolar modes on one device and is made in Korea. Thermage is monopolar only and uses a proprietary single-use tip.

Is Density sold under another name abroad?

Yes, Jeisys markets it as DENZA in the Americas.

Does Density hurt?

Patients feel warm pulses, more intense over bone. Numbing cream keeps most people comfortable.

How many shots are usual?

300 shots for a lighter treatment and 600 shots for a full face with jawline and under-chin.

Can I combine Density with skin boosters?

Yes, clinics often do RF first and then inject boosters like Rejuran the same day.

How long does Density last compared with HIFU?

RF tightening like Density usually lasts 6 to 12 months, similar to or a little longer than lower-cost HIFU such as Shurink.
