What is Aqua Peel?
Aqua peel is one of the most common entry-level treatments in Korean dermatology clinics. A handpiece with a spiral tip delivers solutions to the skin while suction lifts out sebum, blackheads and dead cells.
Clinics often add it before a laser or booster so the skin is clean and absorbs better. It is gentle enough to do every 1-2 weeks.
How it works
Most aqua peel systems use three solutions in order: an AHA/BHA mix to loosen dead cells and sebum, a deeper pore-cleansing step, then a hydrating and soothing solution. Suction removes debris at each step.

Aqua Peel questions
Is aqua peel the same as HydraFacial?
Both use suction with cleansing solutions. HydraFacial is a specific US brand; Korean clinics use several similar devices under the aqua peel name.
Will it get rid of my blackheads?
It clears many surface blackheads in one session. Deep comedones may need extraction by a nurse or doctor.
Can I get aqua peel with acne?
It suits mild comedonal acne. Inflamed cysts need medical acne treatment first.
How often can I repeat it?
Every 1-2 weeks is common. More often can irritate the skin.
Can I do it right before a laser?
Yes. Many clinics use it as a cleansing step before laser toning or skin boosters.
Is aqua peel safe during pregnancy?
Many clinics avoid strong salicylic acid steps in pregnancy. Ask for a mild version or postpone.
