What is Juvelook?
Juvelook is made by the Korean company VaiM Global. It combines PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid) microparticles with hyaluronic acid. PDLLA is a biodegradable polymer that triggers the skin to make new collagen.
Clinics use Juvelook for enlarged pores, rough texture, fine lines and shallow acne scars. It is placed in the dermis, so it changes skin quality rather than adding much volume. For volume there is a separate product, Juvelook Volume.
How it works
The powder is mixed with saline before use. After injection, the HA gives short-term hydration while PDLLA particles stimulate collagen over the following weeks.
A typical face session uses 2-4cc delivered by hand, injector gun or combined with microneedling devices such as Potenza.

Juvelook questions
Juvelook or Rejuran: which should I pick?
Rejuran focuses on repair and hydration of thin or sensitive skin. Juvelook focuses on collagen for pores and scars. Some patients alternate both.
Is Juvelook the same as Sculptra?
Both stimulate collagen, but Juvelook uses PDLLA with HA placed in the dermis for texture, while Sculptra uses PLLA deeper for volume.
Can Juvelook be combined with Potenza?
Yes. Delivering Juvelook through Potenza microneedling is a common combination in Gangnam for acne scars and pores.
When will I see results?
Skin can look plumper in the first days from swelling and HA. Collagen change shows from about 4 weeks and builds over three months.
How many cc does a full face need?
Most clinics use 2-4cc per face session. Larger acne scar areas may use more.
Is there a risk of lumps?
Small nodules are possible if product is too concentrated or placed unevenly. Good dilution and even spread lower the risk.
