What is Ultherapy Prime?

Ultherapy Prime is the newer generation of the Ultherapy system from Merz Aesthetics. It uses the same micro-focused ultrasound principle and transducer depths, with a redesigned console and sharper real-time imaging so the doctor can see tissue layers more clearly before each line.

Many Apgujeong and Cheongdam clinics have replaced older units with Prime. Patients ask for it by name when they want an annual lower-face and jawline lift with no visible downtime.

How it works

The transducer first images the skin, fat and muscle layers, then fires lines of small thermal points at 1.5, 3.0 or 4.5 mm. These points tighten the SMAS and dermis and prompt collagen repair over the next 2 to 3 months.

Is Ultherapy Prime stronger than the original Ultherapy?

The energy and depths are similar. The main upgrades are imaging quality and workflow, which can help the doctor place energy more accurately.

How much does 600 shots cost in Gangnam?

Published Gangnam prices start around KRW 2.58 million for 600 shots before VAT. Some clinics sell 100-shot add-ons for under-chin or eyes.

Can I ask for extra shots on my jawline only?

Yes. Many clinics sell 100 or 300 shots so you can focus on the jawline and under-chin instead of the whole face.

How long before an event should I do it?

Plan for 2 to 3 months, when the lift is usually most visible. Swelling is minimal, so a week is enough for photos if you only want the early tightening.

Is sedation worth it?

If you found older Ultherapy painful, sedation or a stronger numbing protocol makes the deep 4.5 mm lines easier. You will need someone to accompany you and should not drive afterwards.
