What is Neck Lift?
A neck lift (목거상) treats vertical neck bands, loose skin and fat under the chin. It is often combined with a facelift, but can be done alone when the face is in good shape.
Neck liposuction may be included when fullness under the chin is mainly fat.
How it works
Through a small incision under the chin, the surgeon stitches the platysma edges together (platysmaplasty) and removes fat. Incisions behind the ears allow the skin to be lifted back and excess trimmed. A compression wrap is worn for the first week.

Aftercare
- Wear the compression wrap as instructed, often full time for 1 week

- Avoid heavy lifting for 3 weeks

Can I get a neck lift without a facelift?
Yes, if your cheeks and jowls are in good shape. Often, though, mild jowls are treated at the same time for a smooth line.
Will neck liposuction alone do the job?
