What is Onda Lifting?

Onda is a microwave device made by DEKA, an Italian laser company. It uses a technology the maker calls Coolwaves at 2.45 GHz, originally for body fat and cellulite, and Korean clinics now use a face handpiece for the cheeks, jawline and under-chin.

In Apgujeong it is popular with people who have a fuller lower face, because it targets the fat layer and the skin above it in one session with very little pain.

How it works

Microwave energy passes through a cooled handpiece and heats the subcutaneous fat and deep dermis. Fat cells shrink and collagen tightens. Doses are measured in kilojoules (kJ), usually 40 to 80 kJ for the face.
