What is Arm Liposuction?

Arm liposuction (팔뚝 지방흡입) targets the soft fat at the back of the upper arm that does not shrink with exercise. Many Korean clinics include the area near the armpit in the same package.

It is one of the faster liposuction procedures, and the scars are tiny and hidden near the elbow and in the armpit.

How it works

Tumescent fluid is injected, then fat is suctioned through 2 to 3 mm incisions at the elbow and armpit while the arm is held in different positions. Arm compression sleeves go on immediately afterwards.

Will my arms look loose afterwards?

Firm skin usually shrinks back well. If you can pinch more than 2 to 3 cm of loose skin, ask whether an arm lift is needed.

Are the underarm and bra-line included?

Will my hands swell?

Some swelling down to the forearm or hand is normal in the first week. Keeping your arms raised helps.

Can I go out in short sleeves soon after?

Is it the same as fat-dissolving injections?

No. Injections reduce small amounts gradually over several sessions. Liposuction removes more fat in one session.

Will I have scars in my armpit?
