What is Breast Lift (Mastopexy)?

A breast lift (가슴거상) treats sagging after pregnancy, breastfeeding or weight loss. It moves the nipple up and tightens the skin envelope rather than adding size.

If volume loss is also a concern, an implant can be placed in the same operation (augmentation-mastopexy).

How it works

The incision pattern depends on how far the nipple sits below the breast fold. Mild sagging may need only a periareolar 'donut' incision; moderate sagging uses a vertical lollipop pattern; severe sagging uses an anchor pattern. The breast tissue is reshaped internally before skin is trimmed.
