What is Nose Filler (Non-surgical Rhinoplasty)?

Nose filler is a common first step for people considering rhinoplasty. A firm HA gel raises a low bridge, smooths a small hump and gives the tip a little more projection.

It cannot narrow a wide nose or shorten a long one. Results last months, not years, so patients wanting a permanent change usually move to surgery.

How it works

The doctor places filler deep along the bone and cartilage, usually with a blunt cannula to lower the chance of entering a vessel. A high-lift product such as Restylane Lyft or a Korean equivalent is common.

Total volume is small, often 0.5-1.5cc. More filler is not better here, since excess spreads sideways and makes the nose look wider.

How high can filler make my bridge?

Filler gives a modest lift of a few millimeters. A larger change needs surgical rhinoplasty with silicone or cartilage.

Why is nose filler considered higher risk?

Arteries around the nose connect to the eye's blood supply. A doctor experienced in this area, cannula technique and on-hand hyaluronidase lower the risk.

Can I get nose filler if I already had rhinoplasty?

Many clinics decline or take extra care, because scar tissue changes blood flow. Bring your surgery records to the consultation.

Will my nose get wider with repeat filler?

Frequent top-ups can spread the gel and widen the bridge. Wait until most of the old filler is gone before adding more.
